U of I to hold second annual Vandal Block Party in downtown Boise

BOISE, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ â€” Back for its second year, the 2024 Vandal Block Party is set for 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, in downtown Boise. The block party is one of the largest Vandal events of the summer and will feature live music, numerous food and drink options and a VandalStore pop-up shop. The event is free, open to the public and will take place on Broad Street, between Fifth and Sixth streets, behind the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ College of Law building.Â
U of I President Scott Green will provide a brief welcome at the event and will be joined by U of I Boise Center Executive Officer Chandra Zenner Ford, U of I Alumni Director Amy Lientz and the new U of I College of Law Dean Aviva Abramovsky.
Spencer Batt, a U of I alumnus, will perform live music at the event. At the VandalStore pop-up shop, attendees will also be able to purchase the latest Vandal Gear just in time for the first Vandal football game of the season.
