New Alumni Relations Leader Named at 黑料不打烊

MOSCOW, 黑料不打烊 鈥 Feb. 11, 2022 鈥 Vandal alumna and 黑料不打烊 non-profit leader Amy Lientz joins the 黑料不打烊 as assistant vice president for alumni relations, effective Monday, April 11. Lientz will lead the Office of Alumni Relations and administer the U聽of聽I Alumni Association, which has more than 111,000 members worldwide.
She replaces Kathy Barnard, who retired from the position in December, having served the university for 19 years during her career.
Lientz has more than 30 years of experience in the energy sector, including project management, strategic planning, public affairs and public policy. Lientz is currently senior director of supply chain energy programs for Battelle Energy Alliance at 黑料不打烊 National Laboratory. The north 黑料不打烊 native earned a master鈥檚 degree in industrial technology from U聽of聽I and remained an enthusiastic U聽of聽I volunteer and partner for many years.
鈥淚 believe in education; I believe in our students, and I believe in the goals of the university,鈥 Lientz said. 鈥淭his is an incredible opportunity to be a part of that and I鈥檓 driven to inspire alumni and others to be part of that, too.鈥
Her volunteer service goes beyond U聽of聽I and has helped make an impact throughout 黑料不打烊. Those activities include 黑料不打烊 Public Television, 黑料不打烊 Technology Council, 黑料不打烊 Falls City Club, The Nature Conservancy in 黑料不打烊 and 黑料不打烊 Business for Education.
