Impact statements

Meranda was raised on a family farm in Grangeville, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ, where her family still resides, farming wheat and running a cow/calf operation. During her schooling at the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ she worked as a research assistant on several livestock focused studies. While finishing her master's, she was selected for an extended internship position with Agri Beef Co. before accepting a position with UI Extension. After several enriching years in the eastern district, she now serves her home county, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ County, where her focus is on beef production and operational management education for producers as well as animal science education for youth in 4-H.
