Iris is the small farm and horticulture educator for UI Extension, Latah County. This program includes an ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Master Gardener program, plant clinic for community pest problems, community garden education series and educational programming for small acreage producers. Beginning in 2019, she is offering a farming education program for U.S. military veterans, now called “Harvest Heroes.” Her doctorate research focused on adult education, use of narrative and pesticide safety education. She recently received a USDA farmers market promotion program grant for the Tuesday Community Market.
